........."Friday Night Lights"....so it doesnt get canned. The premiere is next Friday but i've already seen it....Its on the Yahoo tv page. Great stuff....just not exactly forget your troubles TV....perhaps thats why the ratings suck. Nice to see the guy who played Hank Jennings on "Twin Peaks" on the show as the new coach. Took me a minute to figure it out.

Is there ANYONE in the USA watching the womans world cup? I'm a soccer fan and i've not seen a second.

Uneventful weekend.....I ran saturday, played NINETY minutes of soccer yesterday (we had lots of folks working, injured etc..) and I strength trained today. A bit too much....

Watched Ken Burns first episode of "The War" last night....every high school history class should be made to view this series...."How I met your mother" was a "B" for its premiere and I did laugh at times at "The Big Bang Theory".

Seems odd that it will be 90 plus this week...

OK....I'm actually starting to feel sorry for Brittany....is she REALLY that dumb to hit a car and then not report it when she knows it it will be on TMZ within hours???

I just saw Rob Zombies remake or re-do of "Halloween". The movie wasn't bad...violent beyond reason. I liked the backstory of Michael Myers..Once he gets to the institution it starts to slide downhill and by the time you get to Haddonfield it had gone on too long. Its like they had to compress the original "Halloween" into the last third of the film. I didn't really care about the characters who got wacked. The film as a whole was ok....

buts thats NOT the reason i'm posting....

Maybe i'm getting old but why doenst the sound have to be so mother fucking LOUD!???. I love a great sound system, but do they have to have the sound at warp 30? I'm watching the previews (think there were 6 of them) and everyone had, trucks exploding, serpents coming out of the sea, people screaming etc..etc...and then during the actual film (where by the way i had the WHOLE place to myself.....3:45 on a monday afternoon). jumped out from beyond the shadows made me jump out of my fucking skin. I seriously felt like i need a drink after seeing the movie. Speaking of the movie, outside of the woman who tore my ticket, I didnt interact with another human being the ENTIRE time i was at the theatre. I bought my ticket at the self service kiosk...bought nothing at the consession stand ( i WAS tempted by the giant bag of Twizzlers but said no....). Sat alone.....never saw an usher..and walked out.

Made me realize why so many of us just wait for the DVD.....at least i can FF thru the previews and control the mother fucking volume.....

Do you ever daydream or lay in bed and think about "future you"? Not long future you....I mean six month or one year future you. Don't you think he (or she) will a better version of you.
He will be thinner, be more complient on his diet, more organized, paid off more debt.

You know what? my new goal is to teleport future me to meet "present me" and morph them.

At the subtle prodding of my sister, I will attempt to revive this blog as something more than a picture archive. Not that i won't post pics but lets see if i can apply myself a little more....

I dropped Alexa off at school yesterday and on the school's street, there was a woman wearing a "housecoat" smoking a cigarette. How out of fashion the housecoat has become...it has that "i really have nothing better to do than hang around the house all day" look about it.

My workouts are going well....its my eating thats still haphazard...one day good...one day not....
Usually my getting is better when i'm on a regualar schedule. Not as bad as my "blame pie" rant from about a year ago but perhaps a distant relative.
