...First I HAVE be trying to post but for whatever reason, blogger for me has been acting up...

I have added Nikes running gadget to my workouts....I already had the Nano (required) and I needed new running shoes and the pod that goes in the shoes was only $29....now if only it wasn't so fucking hot!

Went to a friends wedding over the weekend (his 2nd)....nice small wedding (again the humidity sucked). Nice to see some old friends and family (his) That I don't see like i used to.

Credit to my wife for getting the pool open...If you saw it at the beginning of the summer you'd have thought theres no freakin' way....and being the scum that I am....I'm in more than her so far.

Weekend Chatter

...so it turned into one of those weekends...you know....where you're going to get a lot of stuff done around the house and outside as well. Saturday got away from us....the weather was too damp to get to the yard stuff. it was one of those weekends and you look up and its already six o'clock....
As far as the inside goes I believe I uttered the phrase (about keeping the house clean) "like running in quick sand"....

I did get over something of a plateau running on saturday.....I finally hit the five mile mark (with some recovery time). But I was just gassed last weekend and felt good to have a good workout...

This thought went thru my mind....If a spouse dies, and the survivor wants the ring and its shall we say not easily removed, what happens?? My ring is pretty tight and i'm thinking outside of cutting it off (the ring OR my finger) its not going anywhere.

Today was your standard sunday stuff.....I did get out with Alexa for a kick about with the soccer ball and a fine dinner at Papa Ginos.

...I was thinking the other day how LONG it has been since I bought a new cd and listened to start to finish over a period of weeks or months. The first album I ever bought was "Band on the Run" and I know every song. The other day I picked up a copy of Billy Joels "52nd Street". Its funny...I remember the month and year i bought it (feb 1979), what i was doing (getting my contact lens looked at), Who i was with (my dad). And yet again, its a cd or album at the time that i know every note. So I thought I'd post a list (a visual one) of albums who share those traits..and if i remember when i bought them:
